PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri, operating as TransNusa Aviation Mandiri, usually shortened to TransNusa, is an Indonesian domestic airline serving the east of Indonesia, mainly Nusa Tenggara and Southern Sulawesi. Its main base is El Tari Airport, Kupang. It was launched in August 2005 serving various destinations from Kupang, Timor, using aircraft chartered from Pelita Air and Trigana Air Service.

In August 2011, TransNusa entered a new stage by receiving its own air operator's certificate (AOC) and scheduled commercial airline permit.

As company grows rapidly and adapts new business trends, starting from December 2021, TransNusa will be shifting its business model into Low Cost Carrier (LCC) segmentation and is going to use JET Engine as a main fleet.

Repositioning

Since August 2011, TransNusa has been focusing on medium service segmentation by operating with ATR Aircraft type to coverage most of east Indonesia area.

As company grows rapidly and adapts new business trends, starting from 2021 December, TransNusa will be shifting its business model into Low Cost Carrier (LCC) segmentation and is going to use JET Engine as a main fleet.
